Arts and Dementia Warwickshire January 2022 to March 2022

FREE fun arts workshops for people living with dementia and their carers with opportunities to chat over a cup of tea!

Participation in the arts can help with improving mental well-being, reducing isolation and loneliness, improving brain cognition and physical co-ordination and also making new friends!

Arts and Crafts with Jessica Hartshorn

Take part in a range of carefully crafted sessions such as painting, creating beautiful mobiles, printing and colourful collages with patient support and guidance.

Memories Alive with Rob Gee and Escape Arts

Working with performance poet Rob Gee, a small group will discuss weekly themes and share memories and experiences. Rob will craft participants’ stories and memories into a poem, as well as sharing his own poetry.

Tuesdays 1pm to 2.15pm (1, 8, 15, 22, 29, March 5 April)

Reminiscence with museum objects with Helen Fountain

These workshops, with easily accessible themes, will focus on Food to the Table, Fun, Games & Entertainment, Schooldays, Trips to the Seaside, Dressed to the Nines and Celebrations. Object based handling resources from the 40's, 50's, 60's and 70's will be used to spark memories.
