Coventry and Warwickshire’s Living Well with Dementia Strategy (2022-2027)
Development of the strategy
Following a period of extensive engagement on the draft strategy from early September to end of October 2021, the feedback has been collated and published as follows:
- A ‘We Asked, You Said, We Did’ format has been used to summarise the key findings from the engagement (You Said), and then explains how the strategy has been developed as a result of the engagement (We Did).
Two reports have also been published: One report includes comments from 85 stakeholders obtained through a survey on Ask Warwickshire and one report with feedback from over 220 people living with dementia and carers through a range of in-person engagement opportunities.
The feedback and reports can be viewed on the Dementia engagement survey page.
Publication of the strategy
The strategy is now being revised and will be taken to several Boards for review and approval before it is published late Spring 2022.
Once the strategy has been published it will be available for all to view at Coventry and Warwickshire’s Living Well with Dementia Strategy (2022-2027) page.
What will the strategy do?
Coventry and Warwickshire’s Living Well with Dementia Strategy 2022-2027 sets out six key priority areas that will help ensure that people with dementia, as well as their carers, receive the appropriate support, information, and advice along their journey with dementia. Each of these six priority areas includes several objectives which summarise what actions will be taken and also outcome measures that will enable us to track our progress.
