Free singing for wellbeing workshops
Warwickshire-based company Arts Uplift is delighted to announce Singing for Wellbeing, the latest initiative of Ageing Well, a programme designed to promote health and wellbeing, with a focus on dementia-friendliness.
Starting in November 2024 these weekly singing workshops are a chance to discover the joy of singing along to well-loved tunes, connect with others, and enjoy a cup of tea and chat in a comfortable and friendly setting. Led by experienced artist Karen Hill, they are free of charge, accessible and dementia-friendly.
Dates: 21, 28th November 2024; 5, 12, 19 December 2024; 9, 16, 23, 30 January 2025.
Time: 2.00pm to 3.30pm
Place: Alcester Library, Globe House, Priory Road, Alcester B49 5DZ
Singing for Wellbeing is a unique experience that aims to boost mood and enhance mental health. All are welcome and no singing experience is necessary so you don’t need to sing like a songbird to take part - just the willingness to have a go.
