The Phoenix Post Diagnosis Support Group offer social and emotional support to carers of those with dementia, and the patients themselves, giving them an opportunity to meet weekly to share experiences and support one another as they all travel the same pathway.
Many important friendships are born within the group, so that they meet, privately and socially at other times during the week. We organise a varied social programme with music, keep fit and craft work as well as outings and lunches out. Meetings take place every Tuesdays from 11am to 3pm. There is a small charge of £3 per person per week (price includes £1 for a raffle ticket).
